Finally managed to play Injawara again. It’s a really fun, educational game.

Wizard-Thief: Session 4. A conclusion to the first segment of Alandra the Bard’s chronicle in my solo Pits and Perils game.
After having a week-ish long break due to family in town, I have been looking forward to getting back to my solo campaigns. Since I have been short on space and time, I’m running another segment of my Pits and Perils Alandra adventure instead of my Ruins…

Review: Santa Muerte Tarot Deck
Review: Santa Muerte Tarot Deck
As you all may know by now, I like using tarot decks for inspiration and as an oracle in some of my solo delves. Well, based on another post here, I picked up the Santa Muerte tarot and it’s OMGBBQChicken good.
Let’s start with the box, heavy cardboard with a slide top that looks good and will wear well (some of my other more conventional deck boxes are taking a beating just from use and handling.) Inside we have a nice solid book that is bound and not stapled. It’s easy reading in multiple languages with a charming ‘The advice of the dead:’ section for each card. One of the better written booklets that I have come across. And the cards, each is a feast. Fabio Listrani has done an excellent job of capturing the Day of the Dead feel while integrating elements from more traditional decks. This deck is a celebration of life and I got that from the very first card, the Fool. With his battered suitcase carrying a guitar, an AK-47, and a boat anchor, this character was ready to take on any task as only a fool can.
If you’re a fan of this style of artwork, I highly recommend this deck for your inspirational and story telling needs.
Finally getting to give #4AD a whirl while on family holiday.

Apologies for another post today, but it was timely with my other post on module play. I like Rob’s videos and this new one is about modules vs campaign books (spoiler: he mostly recommends against modules). I’ve found I can play his videos at 1.25 or 1.5x speed without losing anything, if you’re pressed for time.
