Season finale cutscene. Going to do a post credits style scene to set up chapter 2 next.
Hello!
Hello!
Somehow, I haven’t had much time to read things at the computer. Thus, I have not been able to keep up with the Replays being posted here, sorry.
However, I have been able to get some time offline to continue my own gaming (which is always rather slowly), so my Libre adventure has now reached the end of scene 3. Scene 2 and 3 are both cut scenes, as the things I wanted to do did not lend themselves to encounter or obstacle scenes.
I also noticed while setting up scene 4 – which will finally be my first obstacle scene – that I misunderstood the meaning of Appeal in the skill list (^_^;;
But the golden rule is that there is no turning back time…
I have now uploaded the text as the original Open Office file, as it is much smaller than the rtf version. At least google seems to be okay with that.
Yours,
Deathworks
More random thoughts while I stitch together chapter two and continue writing the last couple scenes.

This looks like a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to giving it a try using CT.

To celebrate the arrival of my new lovely copy of The Traveller Book, I’ve been working on a solo campaign to use it with. I present it for download for those who might be interested. It is in A5, booklet, format.
Into The Neutral Zone is a free solo roleplaying campaign for Traveller. Set within the Neutral Zone of the Spinward Marches between the Imperium and Zhodani Consulate , it chronicles the adventures of a husband and wife team of naval veterans. They must track down and expose a rogue naval commander who is operating totally beyond the pale of any acceptable human conduct, and the couple must pretend to be free traders whilst searching for leads and rumors.
If they do track down the rogue admiral, they may not find what they expect!

More mad science! I decided to write up a solo framework for Amber Diceless using a tarot powered system (it is thematically appropriate to the setting.) Would like to get feedback from both communities before I jump in and started playing.
If you’re not familiar with the Amber Diceless system, it is point buy character generation with secret auctions and a crap ton of hidden information. All conflict resolution is diceless and driven by character ranks, situational modifiers, and even more hidden information. 🙂

So, here’s something that I’d like for people to read and provide feedback on. It is a framework I wrote up for playing Amber Diceless as a solo game. First draft of course, but I would like for you all to take a look and comment if desired. While many of the techniques are not new to the Lone Wolf – solo RPG community, are they clear enough for first time readers? I do plan to take a crack at a solo game using this system at some point. Not sure on the posting format, frequency, and such at this time.

I’m currently brainstorming a method to generate scenes/plots with only the use of the Everway Fortune Deck as oracle. I was thinking to go down the list of Dungeon World Discern Realties questions, and draw one card for each.
* What happened here recently?
* What is about to happen?
* What should I be on the lookout for?
* What here is useful or valuable to me?
* Who’s really in control here?
* What here is not what it appears to be?
Any other suggestions on the subject of using Everway/the Fortune deck as a solo RPG?

Hello, People! I found other day this really wonderful game by Scott Malthose…the Stickynote Quest. it wasn’t originally designed for solo playing, but I used combined with So1um, and the results were amazing. I am really impressed how deep can be something so short. Really nice job!
