Keep on the Shadowfell Solo – Session 12

I returned to my Shadowfell solo game and again I survived a very close call. Actually I enjoy it more running only two characters solo. Everything else is too much bookkeeping for my taste as you know I prefer to run only one char. So far I have not adjusted the encounters but I probably need to going forward.

  1. Are you playing 4e DND solo with only two PCs? How does the game system balance when you’re missing so many archetypes–I thought that was 4e’s “thing”–that it was balanced very well for a party of five.

  2. Charles Swann I just use the adventure module but not the 4th edition rules. I started using The Black Hack as the engine but this session I converted to Microlite20 as engine. I use the stats as guideline and convert on the fly, using the enemies level as a base.
