Back to Soloing Keep on the Shadowfell. Session 11 and after an intense battle our heroes’ resources will be stretched thin…

I just posted session 1 of my Ruins of the Undercity adventure, following the ignominious end of my party from my City of Spires solo game. This time I rolled up a four person S&W party (I’ll be using LL for future guys) and am going to see what shakes out.
I am hoping to use RotU for the dungeon content and then I’ll be using Mythic for city and above ground adventures when performing any actions beyond the standard shopping tables mentioned in the rule book.
Session 2 is being playing this week!
Deal of the day at Drivethrurpg:
http://drivethrurpg.com/product/140102/NonPlayer-Compendium?src=DotD&from_home=1
“Each chapter (except names) feature 50 facets and include a short write-up which give can give you direction and inspiration on how to run that character or NPC. This literally gives your several hundred trillion character combinations!!
Also, its generic so the Non-Player Compendium can be used for any setting and contains no rules or mechanics so it can be used for any system!”
Now is the hard part. Jolene needs to gain enough trust from the warforged to get an idea what they are up to without doing anything that might come back on her house. Her first mission will be a test.
Finally got a chance to play a little more. Well, actually, I didn’t play yet. I just planned to play by designing characters and setting the scene. I’m using the Tiny Dungeon 2nd Edition rules, Backstory Cards to tie together my main protagonist and his sidekicks, and the It’s Not My Fault cards to get character ideas and set the initial scene. It was fun and challenging thinking of ways to tie together everything that came up in the cards. You can check it out here:
Scenario 2. Setup and scene 1.
Enter Jolene d’gholander, disgraced but useful Scion of the house of hospitality and all round trouble shooter.

Example of play #2
Continuation and end of the adventure. This second part is much more narrative. I show how to go beyond the rules to create an interesting narrative plot (from my point of view). To add some “surprise effect”, I also decided to get out of the “player/game master” logic of the game and simulate some of the “players” choices. These choices are not insignificant and will completely diverge the rest of the story. Several tracks are envisaged, including the total defeat of the team.
I’ve posted the first official session in my Swords and Wizardry/LL solo game. I’m aiming for it to be a multi-character dungeon crawl, but this first session ended up building a little more of a back story and setting up the main PC more than I thought. Hopefully he doesn’t die right away
Looking forward to getting into the dungeon this weekend!

Scene 5. Verden has taken a beating however finding someone to heal his cracked ribs will have to wait as he puts a plan in motion to setup a final showdown with the warforged killer. Only one will walk away, bringing the scenario to a close.

Hey you guys! I’ve been playing a little Nintendo Switch game in my spare time called “Knights of Pen & Paper”. You guys should seriously check it out! Its a really tongue in cheek take on a tabletop RPG much like D&D.
My alter-ego channel H-Bob-omb! over on youtube has a video of the first section of gameplay. Review soon to follow:
