I’m planning to continue playing out the story a day at a time until it reaches its conclusion. Tonight’s session drew two of the four Clues, which made today’s entry somewhat heavy on exposition. That does mean of course that future sessions will begin to ramp up rather quickly.
Here is my character’s description, to help provide context for his writing:
Sir Edward Parsons (Resolve 5, Spirit 5)
I grew up in Derbyshire and the now Lord Christopher was my best friend. Upon coming of age we went to different universities, I became fascinated with ancient histories (particularly that of the Romans in Britain) and spent the majority of my life (and what was left of the family fortune) digging for relics up and down the windswept heaths and moors of England’s back country. Lord Christopher followed in his father, the late Lord Christopher Sr, by becoming a minister of Parliament. Despite the distance in our positions, Lord Christopher was the frequent receipient of my letters and I of his.
Recently however he has become quite withdrawn and had not answered at all the letter I sent a month ago, so I made the decision to call on him to ensure he was well. I found him ill, pallid, and weak with no explanation to be had. It pained me to see my hale and hearty friend reduced to this state. Moreover, he tells anyone who will listen about the strange lights and sounds he has seen on the moors that surround the manor and of the strange shapes he swears he sees outside his windows at night. I have decided to stay at the manor for a week or so to ensure my friend is on the mend before returning to my own home in London.

Here is my set-up and the first scene of my adventure for SGAM2017. To pay tribute to Zach Best I am also using the CRGE and UNE and I am using the taro images of the community to inspire the story.
As the plan is to release a pdf document with all the material afterwards I will forgo my usual handwritten style for this event.
Episode two of my #SGAM2017 game based on Casey G.’s Stay Frosty. The squad has another big fight, a goon goes apeshit and an interesting UNE-generated NPC enters the scene. I quite enjoyed this session 🙂

Scenes and memories for Sethany and Eve
Eve’s father made a deal with the Devil via Dr Zach Stone, he just never realised the cost. It was the Omicron treatment where Evelyn was gifted with her power, the aftermath of which her parents realised that something dangerous happened and they chose to drop all contact with Dr Stone and the Pangeus Institute.
Sethany has a new plan, this time she will have it all, Eve will be at her feet defeated and the World will belong to Sethany. This will be achieved using her latest device which will transmit a subliminal illusion via Social Media, a subtle form of Mind Control. Every mobile device, electrical outlet, radio and gadget becomes a transmitter for this subtle form of mimetic control. People will actively seek to be ruled by the Eldest of Vandovia and Sethany Strange.
Sethany has spent months setting up the controller and performing alpha and beta tests to ensure that her device will work. This Black Friday will be the start of the new age, a Strange Age , the Age of Sethany.

So, I think this was one of the things I’m to do for #SGAM2017. Answer the question of why I solo roleplay. Probably at some point later I’ll answer how.
Every hero has its archenemy, Eve might be a fool but her nemesis certainly is not. Sethany Strange is that particular foe.
Still the old adage often rings true, the one about best laid plans.

Sethany Strange 8 (24)
Sethany is a Genius, whose plans for World Domination began at an early age. Her parents were totally oblivious and doted on her every whim. Sethany knew that she was destined for greater things, she saw solutions to problems that the other wunderkind could not even perceive, yet she was constantly stymied by other lesser minds, even in the New Golden Age of Man at the dawn of the 52nd Century. She invented a T.R.A.N.S.I.T Key (Temporal Resonance Accumulator Nexus Spatial Interstitial Transfer), with this she attempted to take over the Galaxy, but was foiled by the Galactic Guild whose roster includes Eve 2.0. Her plan had involved infecting the Numinosity (A Galactic Network linking all minds) with a memetic virus. Sethany’s backup plan was to translate her family back to the 20th Century, where she could safely plan the eventual domination of humanity and prevent the formation or the need for the Galactic Guild, by destroying Eve, by economic dominance and careful curation and pruning of the Timelines.
Sethany Strange is not all that she appears, there was a problem during the transfer to the 20th Century which caused Sethany to split into 3 separate forms, one a small child, a woman aged about 30 and a woman in her 50s. The child lives in a small village near Edinburgh with Sethany’s parents. The other aspects work openly on the international scene, the Matriarch rules a small country in Europe the Kingdom of Vandovia, her younger self is its ambassador to the USA, UK, China, Russia, Europe and Australia. There is a numinous link between all the aspects, another effect of the disruption is that Sethany suffers an extreme form of depression and always feels totally isolated from others. Each form has its own particular powers. The Child is a Master Manipulator, the Younger Self can split herself into multiple selves and the Eldest wears powered armour and has many robots under her control.

Combat: All of Sethany’s forms have Nanite Armor, both the child and the younger self are usually invisible. The armour allows her to exist without outside air (or air pressure), food or water for up to 14 days at a time.
Quantum Blast: Long Range Force and Energy Blast which inflicts 10 points of damage
Stealth Mode: Become Invisible for one minute, or until she makes an attack
Force Wall: Establish an immobile, two dimensional field of transparent or opaque force 10 feet by 10 feet (3m x 3m) for 10 minutes
Quantum Energy Cloak: Create an Energy Field that gives +5 to Armour against heat, cold, magnetism, light, radiation, sonic, temporal (one at a time, chosen when she uses this power) for 10 minutes
T.R.A.N.S.I.T: She can instantly transfer herself elsewhere, to another place, time, dimension or level of reality of which she is aware
Interaction: Sethany knows that she is a superior being and looks upon others as insects, she generally hides her feelings from others, only expressing her sadness when she is alone.
Use: Sethany tends to scheme about ways of enticing and eradicating Eve, discoveries of ancient and future technology and ways involving other countries and all financial institutions.
Loot: Sethany has a lot of resources, so the chances are high that she has 1d6 Cyphers at hand and 1d3 artifacts
So this is a Strange Hermit, the next card is the Empress
Perhaps the Sethany achieves her goal, or perhaps Eve enters the Inverse realm and things become stranger still
